MÖLNDAL CITY

The city centre of Mölndal is in the middle of a major facelift, and the outdoor lighting needed an update as well.

Mölndal municipality has its roots in the textile industry. This was something they wished would be reflected in the luminaire concept. The client was inspired by the warmth and softness of Devina Höstglöd, but chose to create a new unique luminaire to help build brand in their overall city concept. Together with the client, and ÅF lighting, Fagerhult developed a string pattern with an outdoor durable material, highlighting the textile heritage of Mölndal.
