Twin – dual driver

Synchronised lighting control of two luminaires

Twin is available in versions for wired DALI control or for luminaires equipped with a built-in sensor for Organic Response. The driver is supplied with customised and pre-fitted cabling (including connectors) for easy, quick, and safe connection of both luminaires. The driver’s two channels are controlled simultaneously, and the connected luminaires are therefore controlled synchronously.

Benefits of Twin driver:

• Higher system efficiency calculated on two luminaires. As the conversion of 230V mains voltage to the appropriate voltage for the luminaires is done in only one driver instead of two separate drivers, there are lower internal losses.
• Reduced climate impact thanks to fewer electronics, a more efficient solution, and recycled plastic housing.
• Fewer connection points and quick connections to the luminaire allow for easier installation.
• Both Twin’s channels are controlled by a shared DALI address, allowing a wired DALI system to contain up to 128 luminaires instead of 64.
• The driver also works with only one luminaire connected but it is optimised to operate two. Supplied preconfigured with settings suitable for the luminaires to be connected.
• Twin Dual is certified as DALI-2 with memory banks 251-253.
• Service life: 100,000 hours.

Easy installation with quick connection system

Twin is offered with Fagerhult’s quick connection system for the primary side, which enables solutions for models from Wieland, Wago and Ensto. DALI versions use the standard 5-way “blue” solution, whereas 3-way is offered for OR. Both systems can be used for onward connection, together with an appropriate T-splitter.

Twin can also be connected as a permanent installation including the possibility of Loop-in, Loop-out (LILO). OR version available with connection cord including earthed plug.
