Information, use of phase pulse control with products with suffix -402

Connecting DALI luminaires to a momentary switch is common in some countries. We call it pulse switch while driver manufacturers call it e.a. SwitchDim or TouchDim. Pulse switch is not a standardized control protocol. The different brands of drivers require different type of pulses to understand the desired function.

This means that you can never mix different brands of drivers on the same switch.

If phase pulse system is desired with a mix of luminaire types connected to the same switch, the used brand of driver in each product must be checked.
